What The Title Cannot Teach
About
What the Title Cannot Teach is an upcoming leadership book that explores lessons often learned only through experience—on the front lines, in management, under pressure, and through the responsibility of leading people. Drawing on my career in public transportation, personal growth, formal study, and real-world workplace challenges, the book examines how self-awareness, integrity, emotional intelligence, trust, adaptability, accountability, mentoring, culture, and resilience shape the kind of leader a person becomes. Rather than presenting leadership as a title or position, this project offers a different perspective: leadership builds over time through the choices we make, the people we learn from, the mistakes we reflect on, and the ways we help others grow.
