God has a calling for each of us. Whether it is preaching the Gospel, writing, or offering encouragement, we all have a place and position in the Kingdom. It’s natural to feel afraid when we discover our calling, and it can feel overwhelming. View it in the spiritual realm and know that God will provide the tools to do your task. In Exodus Chapter Four, God instructed Moses to speak to the people, but Moses felt he lacked the necessary diction to address them. Verse 11 tells us: Then the LORD asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the LORD?” Another emotion that tends to creep in is fear. That’s nothing more than the enemy’s trick. We must battle through it and remember 2 Timothy 1:7 – For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Will you embrace the call when it comes?
